Brief synopsis,i tried logging into my account last night as usual and i couldn't,thought it was a glitch,same today,so i contacted TCB,this is their reply and i'm gobsmacked.

Hi there,

I have taken a look at your account and unfortunately it does appear that
this has been automatically suspended by our system as this shows
characteristics that are potentially attributable to abusive or fraudulent
activity that may contravene our Terms and Conditions.

Are you able to please shed any light on this for us?

Perhaps the cashback you received for those pair of shoes is seen as fraudulent as you only wear one.

I've honestly no idea what their problem is though,i've never even used TCB to get a phone contract or insurance or anything,i go via TCB to do my shopping online,that's it :(

Have you gone through all of your transactions and tried to think if there is anything out of the ordinary that happened? Have you submitted any missing cashback enquiries that have since tracked and you did not realise?

From memory i have only ever queried one transaction and that was maybe 6 months ago now,maybe longer.

Why is he asking me to shed light on it,i've no idea and seemingly they don't either,how can the system suspend my account and they don't even know why.

We'll just let our system suspend your account,we have no idea why,then we will ask said user if they know why wtf !!

No,i can't log in,when i try it says login failed.

My sister couldn't get into her account a couple of weeks ago and i asked on the TCB forum for advice,hers was saying the password was wrong when it wasn't because she has everything written down lol

Now i can't get into mine,it's obviously problems at their end.

They deleted my account after a few months of inactivity, all money gone, is was like I never existed. You can create another account though.

What exactly did you say to them when you were trying to regain access on your sister's behalf? I'm guessing, y'see, that they've maybe interpreted your actions as an attempt to steal her account.

If it was that,why would it take a couple of weeks for them to do anything and then not give me a reason.

I can't see how it is that,all i did was post a thead on the TCB forum saying she can't log in,they posted a link for her to use,she then sorted it herself,i didn't have anything to do with it other than post a thread.

I don't know, just a thought, that's all. Did you try logging into her account from your PC?

I did wonder that myself,oh actually now you mention it,yeah i did try logging in once,when she was on the phone and said she couldn't log in i said let me try and i couldn't.

I then posted the thread on TCB and she sorted it herself.

I think you've hit the nail on the head i bet that's it,i don't believe i'm in trouble for trying to help her.

I don't know what to think now,this is so annoying,do you think i will lose my account because of that ...

I've logged into a friend's TCB account a few times in the past on my laptop and nothing has happened to me or them.

Me and my wife both have our own TCB accounts on our home connection (ie, same IP). Never been an issue.
