If its a card payment you dont have to be in the country..could be an online/telephone site. If its done by atm..obviously card fraud...cancel card asap.
#3
Even if you haven't got credit card, go to your bank, you will recover the money unless is an old withdrawal

Doesn't look like a fraud to me, uses secure codes etc......have you paid that amount to anyone lately, a bill or a top up??

contact your bank ASAP ~ card thieves usually test the cards a couple of times.... to see if it works

I worked for a bank for 6 yrs..in my experience if it was fraud they would not stop at that...they would rinse your account....amounts are too small..If you have dealings with the company already more then likely a legitimate payment or company error..you will have to contact them not your bank.

lol The robber was last seen parked outside Ayia Napa Luna Park shop in a silver 1985 DeLorean sports car :w00t:

One good thing here (Like the Minority report is) you can prevent this happening on the 25th May...

Best of luck

This recently happened to my sister.
The bank told her the current trend at the moment is fraudsters take out a small amount to see if it gets noticed, if it doesnt then they go for larger amount.

Sisters tester amount was £1. yes ONE QUID! Her bank actually rang her as this was out of my sisters normal spending!!

It is definitely the way it is happening as it happened to me the other month!
There were a few test amounts & then a couple of attempted transactions from London. Lucky for me they were greedy and tried for £1500 then £1000 and I never had that amount in my account.. If they had tried a few days earlier I would have but the rent had gone out along with loads of other direct debits.

Best to get it sorted.
