Hi, I just placed and order for a TV from these guys, its £200 - £300 cheaper than anywhere else, but I'm scared ! No warranty, only 30 days return policiy, but its a really good deal. Anybody dealt with these guys before or bought something like this form them ? Still contemplating cancelling it ! thanks

I haven't bought anything from them. What's their feedback like? As long as you paid by credit card you should be covered in case you are ripped off. You are allowed to cancel within 7 days (distance selling regulations). With that much of a saving I would probably have gone for it too, unless company looked dodgy.

Ah...just read the 'no warranty' bit...that is a bit offputting. Surely they should provide a warranty?

thanks for the reply.. there is no mention of a warranty :( This is the item:

30 day warranty!! Its because the item is 2nd hand (ex-display) NOT NEW (could have been in a shop window switched on 24hours a day displaying company logos).
Item states:-

"Open box unit. Cosmetic blemishes on main unit. Cosmetic blemishes on accessory. Minor damage to outer box. Package resealed"

Ah, it's a slightly used/returned item. Good price though. It does say in their terms and conditions that you can return within 90 days if tv develops a fault. So it's a 3 month warranty basically. Their feedback seems pretty good too. I'm after a new telly myself....but I'd want to know it was in as new condition. That's what would put me off. What if there are unacceptable scratches?

It's a Spec V's Price trade off. Personally, My TV is the most expensive electrical item I own. It's one of those places I wouldn't take the risk of having no warranty...
