A whole 3 piece suite and all stuffed right outside my gate, was being prepared and sorting the wash loads for tomorrow and had the back door open, heard some noise and then heard one of em say "lets set it alight" hubby was out there like a shot and theyve scarpered leaving us with a ruddy sofa to climb over to get out of the gate!

Last time it was 4 tescos trolleys full of garden rubble and broken paving slabs, why are some ppl so god damn lazy

I blame the parents of today, sad but true.

60% of parents today have no idea on how to parent imo.
#2
put the sofa in the for sale forum.

60%... and the rest
#4
give it to mum2be for when she moves out of her shed into a house
#5
I blame the council. Simple reason being they don't tend to let vans into refuse sites and how many family cars can accommodate a sofa?
banned#6
i blame the people who have gates, if they didnt then people wouldnt be able to leave sofas outside them
#7
I blame DFS.
#8
I'd be more concerned about why they wanted to set your back door alight :?

I blame DFS.

Not in this case, if it had been DFS I doubt the op would have been able to recognise what was left of it as a 3 piece suite :giggle:

I think its definatly the parents faults..... problem is kids are bringing up kids :/
#11
Somewhere their parents are lying on the floor drunk and will wake up in the morning and wonder where the hell the sofa they went to sleep on has gone!
#12
Not being alarmist (well maybe a little) but there is the possibility that they may come back later to finish it off and set it alight, I would really think about chucking a good few buckets of water over it or hosing it down to be on the safe side! Either that or wait with the video camera and you can share it with us on youtube!
#13
torags the lot of em,I mean our local council collects large rubbish items for fREE if theyre on benefits so there is absolutely no need to fly tip their chit
#14
As for the tesco's trolleys id have rang them to tell them, they would have to take the rubble too or you could catch them flytipping!
#15
are these the same what keyed ur car ?. get a floodlight with video recorder that takes sd card and hand footage to cops.

no they live over the other side, only got a good look at one of em but that was enough to know who it was, will report em to council first thing monday but last time i did when they left the rubble the council just asked me yes ME to take it to the tip to which I refused and a few weeks later they finally sent someone out to collect it

ok advice here, call your local councillor tomorrow explain what happened. He or she will then on Monday call the Operational Services Dpt which have a fly tipping squad. They will come and collect it, :)

Make one of these http://www.instructables.com/id/cheap-taser-from-fly-trap-rocket--1500-volts-/ and get someone to give them a "talking to". I made one out of boredom yesterday, just be careful how you hold it when putting the batteries in - I wasnt :-(:x they hurt:w00t:

I generally dont get any hassle from the local chavs, I can hear them especially at weekends acting stupid and a bit more now school holidays are on doing things like smashing glass bottles.

And the teenage chav girls chatting me up when I go near them, there was that time about last October near whe I moved in when giurls who looked to me no older than 14 or 15 2 of them were really chatting me up one said she fancied me etc, ironically the one who said that looked no older than 14.

Got offered a BJ other day as I came back from shops by a older teen chav, the ones with massive earings and bleached blonde hair tied back.

But they dont really bother me apart from the time when some pre teen chavs decided to go into our back garden by the broken part of fence and try and break into our shed, then when the girl shouted they spat at the window(how they thought it would reach lol) then chucked stones and a brick that cracked the window a bit, then a hour later kept knocking on our door then smashed our kitchen window.

Been fine since though

blimey thats what they need here, the local psco's roam the place and hand out "yellow tickets" to yobs if they stop em and search em and take anything such as lighters, ciggys, drink etc but thats it,we have a small tesco shop at the end of the road and one evening they had a lock in as a group of yobs kicked off outside and threw shopping trolleys through the windows,I wont even go down there after dark as I find it so intimidating, all the young chavs ask you to get em fags or drink and when you refuse you get nothing but verbal abuse

I find it hilarious in my evil, people-hating ways when chav girls adopt that style. I gather that they do it as a means to stretch the skin of their foreheads, to make their eyes look bigger, hide forehead lines, and effectively give themselves a facelift. Unfortunately, it also makes them go bald.

You still get groups of teens hanging around but they are no bother at all, all the trouble makers are gone. I'm surprised it worked so well, i think at the time it was a new system and our area the guinea pigs. They had it well sorted out in advance though and planned the areas the trouble causers would try and hang around out of sight! If teens want to drink we have a big country park where theres no harm to be done, the police know who's who with trouble causers so leave the ones who drink there in peace as they are just up for a laugh and actually drink sensibly! They go up check alls ok and leave them to it, i think being lenient like that gives them more respect.
