their site is 2minutedraw.com.
has anyone had any dealings with them.? and if it is timeshare,is it worth listening to their carp when i'm there, coz for £99 for 6 of us it might be worth it.
or maybe they're genuine?and i have really won.
any advice please x

you dont pay any admin charge if you have "won a prize"-oldest con in the book.

whoever heard of paying money to claim a prize? I guarantee its dodgy.

WARNING! DO NOT fill out the 2minutedraw.com survey to win £2000 unless you want to be plagued with nusiance phone calls!
2minutedraw.com is a front for a timeshare style holiday club company called Club La Costa to collect personal data and telephone numbers so they can use them to sell their products and services under the guise of winning a free holiday (plus admin charges and other charges - so not free) which you can only claim by going in person to one of their sales presentations.
I did the 2minutedraw.com survey 2 weeks ago and Club La Costa have telephoned me 7 times in the past 10 days, 4 calls being within 2 hours on the same day. Each time I asked them not to contact me again but they did not remove my name and number from their computers and they continued to call me. They don't seem to take no for an answer. When I asked to speak to the manager on 3 of those occasions the caller hung up on me. They also refused to give out contact information (address or telephone number) for the company Club La Costa.
One CLC representative was kind enough to give me the number for Daniel Jones the floor manager. I spoke to him today and he told me that Club La Costa owns the 2minutedraw.com website even though there is no mention of this on the website (the about information gives details for Premier Data Logistics Ltd.). Daniel Jones told me that I had entered a competition on the Club La Costa website to win a holiday (not true) and I had freely given my phone number so they were allowed to call.
I did enter the prize draw to win £2000 and I did give my telephone number (required for prize notification) but I did not enter a Club La Costa competition to win a holiday. There was no where on the 2minutedraw.com website to opt out of allowing your personal information to be passed on to third parties. I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service but this does not cover this kind of unsolicited call as it is not a sales or marketing call, despite the reason for offering the free "prize" holiday is for Club La Costa to sell their timeshare style products.

From my experience doing the 2minutedraw.com survey is not "no hassle, no catch, no fuss" as they say on the website. It has caused me and my family distress at the repeated nuisance calls. According to BT the only way I can stop it is by changing my telephone number and going ex-directory or telephoning the police if they continue to be a nuisance.

from money saving expert alot hjave had it done apparently

>had a phone call from clublacosta.com (about a survey i completed)

Did you really fill out a survey or are they just saying you did?

If you DID fill out a survey I am surprised in this day of identiy theft that you happily gave your phone number (and probably other personal details) to a total stranger.

Nowadays I think it is dangerous to give loads of personal details to total strangers, when you have no idea what they are going to do with the informaiton.

I have won quite a few things (not bragging, just explaining my position). I have not won anything huge but have NEVER been asked to pay anything. If anyone is asked to pay anything they should be suspicious. My advice is to forget about this one and enter others in the hope that you will get luckier next time.
