one fella can't win a match.

Wouldn't matter if Ronaldo had been up front, they'd have still lost, simple as that. From what i've heard(didn't see the match), he was one of the better players. He's not a miracle worker, just a very good player.

nah he was bought to keep hibs from getting 2nd place which isn't looking likely with hibs only 2 points behind and also strengthening their squad with alan gow and the celtic keeper mark brown.

in tony we trust.

In tony I trust. Good manager, these things take time. He's basically changing the whole team. Teams don't gel overnight, everyone knows that.

On a better note, Chelsea only managed a 1-1 draw against Hull...!!!

That's 2 games they've been poor, They were lucky at the weekend with a late winner, They've got Arsenal at the weekend, Good couple of weeks if your a United fan.

I still think Tony Mowbray was treated unfairly.

Just because you get a team relegated from the Premier League does not mean you should have to manage in Scotland.

That's like expecting George W Bush to become a janitor, just because he was rubbish at his job.

he is a good manager, he had west brom playing great football. He had literally nothing to spend, and if you can't bring in good players in the premiership, you go down.

As i said before one man can't make a team. On another night he'd have took one of his chances, and the celtic defence would have done their job. He'd be a hero then, fine line between success and failure. Time will tell. Can't be judged on one game.

Mowbary spent over 20 million at the albion...

Over £10 miilion of which was on Zuiverloon, Luke Moore (The 2nd laziest footballer in history) and Borja Valero (a player so bad we can't sell him on and have had to loan him back to his former club).

Tony comes across as a lovely bloke so I'd be sad to see him go but the nature of the scottish prem dictates that if he doesn't win silverware or at least come second in what traditionally is a two horce race then he's done for.

Apparently Tottenham have recalled Keane as the agreement was for a loan until the end of the season and apparently Celtic's season ended last night?

Dunno if that's true or not?
#17
It'll come eventually. Celtic were all over Kilmarnock last night, but the ball just wouldn't go in the back of the net. As soon as the team clicks, I can see Celtic putting 3 or 4 past the other teams in the league. Cammy Bell had a great game aswell last night which didn't help...

Still 15 games/45 points to play for......

The way Rangers are playing it's guaranteed they'll drop points. And while it's true that the same can be said of Celtic, I'm confident that with the squad we've got now will soon show their quality...

Now that's a blast from the past... we played 3 quarters of the premier league off the pitch last season but a paltry lack of goals sent us down, perhaps that's where he sees keane making the difference?

Even if you win those games and manage to be first in the league, is it really a successful season?

Hopefully, between him and Kamara we should hopefully get a few goals.

If we win the league? I fail to see how it wouldn't be a successful season. Winning the league back, qualifying for the Champions League, I'd call that successful. Granted, we could have played better, but as long as we're at the top at the end that's what counts.

What's your definition of success for a football club?

Is winning the Scottish Premier League really that big a deal?

You can only win the competitions that you're entered into.

You didn't answer my question, what is your definition of success?
