Well I bought HDTV from argos today, but when I brought it home whenever there was black on the screen it didnt look right..it was too dark and had a blueish tint to it.
Now if i put the brightness up another 20 to 70 the picture on my xbox is fine hwever when watching tv it is abit bright and after playing it for an hour and a half now in a room with the lights off my eyes are watering and hurting :
Should i return the tv, and save up a little bit and buy a better brand?
Or keep it?
Jac
Could do with quick replys on this one

I like the tv but its too bright n the problem is really annoying
#3
What make is it?

I know my TV is excluded from the 30 day money back guarentee unless faulty.

Return it mate, if you keep it what seems like a niggle now will end up annoying the hell out of you in in time at all, then you will be sat there with your head in hands, saying to yourself, "I knew I should have returned it, i even asked those jolly nice people on HUKD just to confirm I should take it back and they agreed, oh why did i keep the damn thing when I knew it was all wrong and everybody said the same?"
or something like that anyway!

It is faulty as its not fit for the purpose, you shouldnt have to keep altering the settings each time you change what you are watching/playing.

Is this the Tv they sold as a replacement to the acoustic solutions ones?? If so tell them you was told instore that it was comparable to the Acoustic Solutions one and blag its not, say you bought it after reading good reviews for the AS one so was assured it was good and the Dual one does not in anyway compare as to picture quality or even that you already have the AS one and bought this one after being told it was a replacement and as good as the AS one when its not.

Return it mate, then I can nip a mile up the road to REDLINE and buy it at 15% of the catalogue price to sell at a profit, I love Argos's return policy if people change their mind.

Yeah its a replacement :(
Whats REDLINE?

Click on where on where it says redline in my previous post, basically all the stuff that is returned under the 30 day money back thing ends up there and you can buy a mixed pallet load of stuff for 15% of the catalogue price and sell it for between 40-50% usually.
