Kill Count

Thought I would share some of the body counts my cats are racking up this year :)

The weirdest things they have brought in is a bat and a full size rabbit (wild one that is) which I am sure they must have had to bring through the cat flap together.

A Vole I think

Some kind of small bird (sparrow I think)

A bat, a sodding bat, doesnt quite count as a kill though as when I went to throw it away it flew off again.

Last year my cat brought home a live bat and a dead seagull.
I'm dreading summer coming round again and she goes out hunting.

my cat brought a few birds in but still alive, it was a nightmare at 3 in the morning trying to get a squarking bird from out my bedroom then there was one in the kitchen which ended up jumping inside my dryer.

My cat brought in her first mouse the other day, she placed it at my wife's feet like it was a gift, made me laugh as it was mothers day, the kids had pampered her all day, guess it was the cats turn!

My cats will regularly leave mice, rats, voles, rabbits and all kinds of birds. Most weirdest has to be a bunch of uncooked sausages (probably nicked from some poor persons bbq) and a buttered cream cracker!!!

is that a very small bat or a massive hand?

DEAD SQUIRREL, dragged the thing (it was big) by the tail, through the catflap & left it there for us to find, was quite shocked!

My cat brought in loads of mice in our other house, but very rarely killed them so we ended up trying to find them and get them out
In our new house he has already brought in three birds and literally ripped them apart, I've come home to a room full of feathers

Oh, and we once found a seagull stuck innour window, looks like it got stuck when he tried to bring it in

Spent 20 mins at 1am this morning, pulling my fridge and freezer out trying to catch a live mouse that eric brought in. Got it and released it so it wont get added to the kill count :0
