I have been away for the weekend and forgot my razor. Popped in to Tesco and they had King of Shaves Azor razors on offer for £2.49 with 3 blades. I have heard the name before and there supposed to have good stuff so got one.

Anyway after one shave it broke and the blade fell off. Just wondered what others thought to them.

Well I sent them an email and one of the points was I have been using Gillette trouble free for over 15 years. Less than 24 hours with the Azor and it broke!!!

Yep the price of the blades is my only problem with Gillette. I bought an electric shaver recently but have gone to my Mach 3.

After using a mach 3 for a good few years, and trying other stuff, like single and double disposables, i cannot shave with them now!

electrics have their place, you dont look like the homeless at least, but its nothing like the proper closeness of a blade shave

no, Goonieman, I cant use on of those either, my dad had one, but i couldnt use it without it cutting me right away!

i thought real men used these?

The Azor kicks ass, just use a decent gel with it.

The best disposables I've ever used. Had all the Gillette's, have an expensive Braun leccy.. Often on offer at Tesco too, excellent blades.

I agree under the nose is difficult, so i keep a single blade for finishing it off. But otherwise...

...I couldnt agree more, they are awesome, my fiancee and I both have them and have done for over 2 years. The blades I find last longer then what my quattro and mach 3 ones use to, and I find they give a much closer shave normally as well.

Got an email from King of Shaves today saying that they will send me a replacement handle out and freepost the broken one back. But in the mean time the wife had to go to Tesco so got it swapped. It was only cheap but annoying breaking first shave and the fact I had ordered 8 blades from ebay.
