I havent even benn offered a charger, maybe because I told them that I would be taking legal action against them, lol.

Anyone here willing to take up my case on a no win no fee basis.

Anybody got a link to the original deal?

i did the same, sayibg there offer was an insult to me and i wanted more doing about it, like actually fullfilling the orders we made for the hassle they have put us through.

Cheers. I had a bit of a read through and on balance I think i'll refrain from making any comment at this point as I may (ok WILL) offend a few people if I do:thumbsup:

sure you got things to say, but the only thing that matter's is that even though we tried getting somthing for nothing, whivh most of us knew we would not get, they have made a major mistake under the data protection act.

you never see this when other sites have a mis price as they do their job properley

So if its a real concern, report them to the data protection registrar and try to get them a fine. Just looks like people are trying to blackmail them into getting something for nothing with the threat of the above. It's only an email address, not child benefit details......

already reported them.

im just annoyed as ive done my best to keep my email addy spam free untill now, had it a few years and hardly had any spam, last thing i need is to be having to filter emails and stuff. plus my email addy is my login to some shopping sites, all some1 needs is a password and there in spending my money

why not try and get somthing out of it, they made a mistake let them pay for it.

ive tried for mis price items in the past and never had this problem.

Fair do's if you've already reported them. I see this situation as a car accident where the guilty party offers to pay for the damage 'without involving the insurance company'. You may think you get a good deal, but what if later they release the rest of your data. Just like in a car accident, there's no way you can know if this has happened before or could happen worse in the future. Always best to make sure these sort of things are on record with the relevant organisations:thumbsup:

I doubt they'll up their offer from the free charger though tbh.
