Ladies? why are you so afraid to be single at xmas?

Over the last 2/3 years I have noticed an odd phenomena come the start of December, if i'm chatting to a female, in a queue or bar whatever/wherever be it a stranger or distant aquaintance it seems I am more likely to be asked for my number or if I fancy meeting them again, the other 11 months of the year this only happens in say 1 in 20 (read 1 in 50) occurences at the most (yeah i'm that much of a mutt). In December this is more like 1 in 5.

I'm not going out looking to pull, i'm not chatting them up, i'm making conversation cos i'm a polite chappy, it just seems (some) single women are just scared to be single at xmas as though some curse will befall them. Its sad really because they just stink of desperation.

Any other blokes noticed this?

What gets me is I nipped in Tescos to grab a bottle of pop to drink today, all I said was hello to some woman on the next quick service thing and she followed me half way through town trying to make conversation.

I've been told that quite a few times in the past couple of months. Funny that it's always a man that tells me...never a woman! :p

Yeah, strange that. Can't for the life of me imagine why that is. Couldn't be anything to do with the fact that you're ddg could it?:-D
