Laptop Advice

My parents are on the look out for a laptop, they don't need any thing super fancy but obviously want it to be good for surfing, watching videos etc.

I have found them this one on Tesco and it seems to be idecent enough spec:

Dell Inspiron 1525 Black T3400 2GB 160GB 15.4" Laptop

Is this a decent enough machine and a good price? Do you know of any similar spec ones for a better price, or higher spec for the same price?

Any advice welcomed :)

This one is what I want, it has a larger screen too (17") as well as more RAM and storage

Unfortunately none in stock near me, you may have some joy with it though.
How about a Compaq for about £300 quid (ish) check out the CQ40-214EM or similar in the CQ40/CQ60 range of laptops.
Hi again, just seen this acer also on tesco -- about £30 more but comes with double the HD size and 3gigs of ram rather than 2gigs

Is it worth the extra money do you reckon?

Thanks :)
