do you have a pc, if so just take it out and connect it to the pc

the hd will be a 2.5" ...... just get a usb external case and whack it in that, then transfer the data to your pc

ok just found out it has a 160gb sata hdd in it..... can i connect a 2.5in hdd to the pc ? thought the connections were different for a laptop from a desktop ?

that will work, open up the pc when switched off and have a look

the sata ports should be the same on a 2.5 to a 3.5 inch hd's so should plug in your pc fine (if you have sata compatibility)
