Hi. IMO I'd go for non-Celeron CPU everytime. The better the processor the better and faster the processing throughput so you may find that a better CPU with 1GB RAM is just as good. Plus it all depends on whether the operating system you're using is configured to utilise all the RAM memory.

The RAM usage can also be limited by the hardware. This is where you have a Virtual RAM, a page file that is used on the PC for 'jiggery pokery' or instructions and data that the processor handles when its available and makes writes to the hard drive. All this work is dependent on the processor being a big part of it so a good CPU can make all the difference.

Hope this helps. Cheers!
