Need a new laptop, mainly to play Football Manager 2013. Any ideas/Suggestions? Preferably not Acer after past use with them. HDMI Output needed, Max £400. Thanks in advance.

Screen size? As this will make a big difference in terms of the spec you can get for £400.

This one on amazon warehouse looks good for the money : Lenovo G570

Be quick though as most of these are returns so only have very limited stock.

Needs to be 15"+, Windows 8 preferred.

its not very demanding - most decent laptops for 400 should play it

Min Spec is 2.2Ghz, which is what an i3 CPU is; would this still run well with this?

Always depends how many leagues, countries and players you want to load. If you're doing bare minimum (i.e. a couple of countries, large player database) an i3 would be suffice.

Amount of RAM make much difference? had an i3 and 4gb RAM in previous for 2012...

you want something like this for £400.

although not 100% convinced by Toshiba brand, there used to be Samsung NP350 for about the same money, or look for Lenovo Z580, there should be cashback offer still on.

there were some decent Dell offers recently too.

anything that has got 4GB is good enough. more RAM will never hurt, but as it's easily upgradeable, should not be the main deciding factor.
