Some women I know went for 2 weeks to Las Vegas?
Can someone tell me what usally happens there.
They told me they were drunk every day. Is the alcohol so cheap there or is it free for players , could you only drink and not play .

Just tell me your experiences or what you heard off whats happing there , I'm just curious.
It must be boring 2 weeks just drinking.

Thanks !

Never been but according to this and this the booze is free in the casinos if you're gambling (apart from tipping the waitress).

I know when my sister went for a couple days as part of a trip through America, she said the food and accomadation was dead cheap too, so she could stay in one of the fancy casinos (the Luxor) and not have to pay that much. She just stayed away from the gambling side of things, which is where all the money is made.

Went 10 years ago, there is very little to do there, gamble, thats about it. I suppose you could get married by Elvis or go to a strip club, but if you opt for the latter it will cost you a fortune, even if it is free to get in. I did manage to find a cheap cd shop and a couple of rock clubs though.

My wife and I got married there in 2004 on a 2 week holiday. Fantastic place here's some of the things we did:

Walked the length of the strip (takes easily a day) exploring the casinos and hundreds of shops.
Got married in the 'Little White Chapel'
Went to see Celine Dion in concert on the wedding night at Caesers Palace.
Got drunk a few times, champers is about a tenner a bottle in the casinos.
Gambled about 200 quid on the tables and machines.
Spent a day at the indoor theme park at Circus Circus casino.
Went on a day trip to a small town called Laughlin on the Arizona border.
Saw the legends in concert at the Imperial Palace hotel & casino.
Took a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon (breathtaking).
Visted downtown Vegas where some of the older casinos are.

Fantastic place, can wait to go back, next time we will hire a car and drive to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, a bit of exploring :)

I love how they shamelessly advertiser themselves as the adultery capital of America. "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!". Usually it being your money that stays.

I can't think of a worse place in the world that I'd want to be.

Sounds like you did a lot of stuff other than gamble.
I'm not big on gambling at all,but it's one them places I would like to go to eventually.
