She leaves her 18 month old in her cot with two full bottles of milk, so she can sleep until 1pm! She also fed her daughter crisps for breakfast (at lunchtime!!)

I think it is the fact that she is proud of her lifestyle and advocates that others should follow that disturbs me. I could add lazy and selfish onto disgusting.

that is AWFUL!!!!! that, in my opinion, is not a mum!!!

not a proper mum if she's not looking after them the way she should be
#14

if she gave birth..it makes her a mum.

"A mother is a biological and/or social female parent of an offspring"

theres no such thing as a 'proper mum'
#16
that was quite shocking pareting skills but she had issues with herself but at least she did see ther srrors of her ways at the end so ther could be hope......lol
#17
I didn't see this but it sounds like social services should get involved.that is child neglect.
#18
It just made me wonder how low her hubbies self esteem is to be with a woman like that in the first place. What a user she is, without her husband there social services would definitely have to intervene. Beautiful child, ironic.
#19
somepeople shouldnt be allowed to have kids -strong statement I know, very much an orwellian ideal but there I said it! Is it any wonder that people struggle to get out of the housing estates, progress from the schools in to further education when you have role models like that. You sould just see the childs future spark put out before puberty.
suspended#20
So sad , its horrible to think lots of children have to be brought up like that x
#21
probably the social services have to check on the way the little girl Georgina is raised and give a notice to this dissgracefull mother and mum to be one more time. I wonder how this little girl didn't harm herself by now
#22
And what about the poor kitten - that litter tray hadn't been cleaned out in ages.
#23
omg i didnt watch it but makes me feel really sad reading this thread. tragic that people can do that.

I saw it and thought ( i hope ) social services will be on the way round there today.

A beautiful little girl who never whinged or compalined when you think she would be howling all morning. Left with 2 bottles in her cot, sitting in sopping wet nappies and then fed crisps for 'breakfast' at noon everyday!

The mother is a disgrace and the father should get a spine, he knows babe is left in her cot all the time so he is just as guilty as the mother IMO.

Your point makes no sense, so no it doesn't matter.

They hang people for stealing a loaf of bread and yet fat wasters are allowed to reproduce... :?

you said something about correct statements...........................

I'm sure this means colloquiality that she is not being a responsible mother, so yes there is such thing as a 'proper' mum

its lly not lity....
and you just set your foot in it. if she said 'responsible mother' it would have given her leverage over 'proper mother'

so no. there isnt such a thing as a proper mum

:roll:Main Entry: proper
Part of Speech: adjective
Definition: suitable
Synonyms: able, applicable, appropriate, apt, au fait, becoming, befitting, capable, competent, convenient, decent, desired, felicitous, fit, fitting, good, happy, just, legitimate, meet, qualified, right, suited, true, useful
Antonyms: improper, unacceptable, unsuitable

TBH I`m more concerned with the health and welfare of the little one than the vocabulary or grammar used here. I think there is a big difference between being a birth mother and a proper/responsible/appropriate mum. I have no doubt the social services will be calling on them after that programme being aired. Why she ever agreed to do that programme is beyond me,I would be so ashamed of myself if I was like that:?
#39
does any one know if its repeated this week i missed last nights
banned#40
stop being silly people.
social services will not do anything.
what defines a responsible mum? everyone raises their child in different ways. there is no 'proper' way to raise a child. sure, you have guidelines to follow.
she left the child with drink, she fed the child, was it ill or unhealthy? dont you think the doctor would know of the condition of the baby and raise the alarm where and when appropriate???
