Late delivery from eBuyer..

Hello,

I ordered an item from eBuyer.com last week through Google checkout and selected next day delivery (express delivery I believe) The item was despatched on the 9th of May 2007, same day I ordered, but did not arrive untill 11th may.

Am I entitled to a refund on delivery costs since the item arrived one day later than I paid for?

What time did you order, if an item is dispatched after 5pm it isnt normally garanteed for next day delivery. At least thats what I think. Give them a call - 0845 1231100

But if they did miss their garanteed delivery time you should be entitled to a refund, especially with ebuyers delivery rates, but it could also been a fault of the courier, get your tracking number and have a on the citylink website, see what happend.

I rang city link on the 10th of May, the day it was supposed to be delivered, and the guy on the phone said that Ebuyer had not sent them the item yet.

I had a similar thing happen, only it wasn't on 'next day delivery' but it still got delivered 2 days later than they said because the courier tried to deliver to the wrong address. They didn't care, didn't get a refund on the postage or any sort of apology/compensation despite 4 emails and 2 phone calls.

That, like I say, was on Super Saver though...might be different on special next day items!

Then you should deffinatly be entitled to a refund, I would give ebuyer a call, they have always been very good with me on the phone when I didnt receive a delivery on time - but that was down to citylink - but they still gave me a refund!

i think their perception of time is a little out.... I ordered on Tuesday (albeit after 5pm) When i phoned to find out when it would be delivered i was told it would be the following Wednesday, because i had chosen the super saver option.
'The order won't be picked up until Wednesday, so the 5 working day process will start on Thursday' !!
