Hi All,
Noticed a feint black line/shadow on My tv screen. Its about 2cm wide and starts at the top of the screen and goes to roughly the middle. Any idea what has caused it and is it repairable.
Thanks,
Mike.

How old is the TV and what make/model - as you might still be covered either under warranty or sales of goods act which is 5 or 6 years depending on where you live.... and some makes/models came with 3 or 5 year warrantys etc..

You should contact the reseller who you bought the tv from and explain the situation.... they will more than likely fob you off at first by saying its out of warranty....
Waranty is in addition to your statutory rights - not instead of.... so you have upto 6 years to get a manufacturing fault repaired..... depending on cost and product etc.... but im sure anyone will agree a new telly should last longer than 3 years....

Have a look at these 2 websites for some great advice:
