I had a package from lyle and scott left outside by the bin today...

I sat down and though it could have easily been stolen or damaged!

From peoples experiences, is it worth complaining about it??

was it from the sale that was listed on here? Was it royal mail or courier?

Just claim you never received it if you are dishonest and deceitful.
#3

Indeed, but it's the principle!

I would ring and mention it to them if you don't let the companies involved know then they have no chance to fix it.

There's a Lyle and Scott rep on the thread for the sale. PM them to let them know :)

I'm grateful if my postie or courier leaves me a parcel if i'm out, saves the hassle of re-arranging delivery or collecting it

me too. OP if you DONT want people to leave parcels, LEAVE A NOTE!!

just shut up and take your package, its not like it was left in the open, plus you would be annoyed if you had to go to the depot to pick it up!
it is common practise tbh!

Depends where it is left, I've had a parcel left in the front garden for example and how no one took it I really don't know because I bloody would have if I was walking past lol.

Different people have different opinions... I would have preferred to pic it up if it was an expensive item! If somebody had stolen the package wouldn't be happy...

I've never had a package left outside before so there was no need for a note.

I think being outside my front door is pretty open... I wasn't asking for abuse.

I've had two cameras left outside for 5 days from HDN on behalf of amazon. In the rain aswell, the boxes disintegrated to pulp on the floor and just a piece of bubble wrap lying on top saved them.

What do you want? Do you want to sit indoors watching out for the arrival of your ordered items?

I mean how long do you spend away from home?

Are you away for weeks on end? Jeez, a few hours isn't a big deal is it? Would you prefer the delivery guy visits your house every hour of the day until you happen to be in?

Where do you live?

Obvo you live in an ok area for your parcel to be left by the bin. The delivery guy was doing you a favour. Be thankful.

He/she wouldn't have left it there if they thought it would be stolen.

Jumping to conclusions.

Thanks for your opinions but i don't appreciate them. You obviously have a different mindset which is fair enough but I'd rather go to the depot to collect it as it's a 2 minute walk!

Not options that are just being abusive and patronising.
