A fair and sensible reply, I can see that but also Google has a lot of crap and they could be asking on HUKD because they trust the opinion of the people who post here.
The average IQ on here is less than that of a crisp. God knows how anyone would get the opinion that they are knowledgeable.

Yes people are lazy but the language it uses makes it patronising and unhelpful.
Sometimes it is something easy like cinema times and they deserve a LMGTFY link but sometimes they ask a tech question as a complete novice and need to know what the hell to look for, in this instance a LMGTFY link isn't helpful or appropiate.
Itried explaining this to bykergrove once but his IQ wasnt up to the challenge of understanding.

Is it not only dated a few months ago? Some things stick in my mind and this comment in particular did just that because of the arrogance of the person who said it - and the fact that they didn't say it properly!!
