Lol why do you need to "like" a facebook post for them to plant a tree. Surely if they rarely cared about the environment they would do it anyway.

Another silly marketing ploy.

Exactly. Since they aren't getting any financial benefit from the 'liking' of their page, just plant as many of the things as you can anyway.

Don't trees plant themselves via seeds? Kind of like saying 'like Facebook page to get a woman pregnant for free'.

:p;)

fake pages Have you ever seen a friend share a post from a well-known retailer with the heading something like ‘We have 50 iPhone 6’s that are unsealed so we can’t sell them, simply like and share this post to be in with the chance of winning one of 50 of them’ Genuine Facebook page does not have a full stop after their name. Adsa Argos Tesco all have this done to them with fake pages that look like this Asda. Argos. Tesco. iv also seen Argos: notice the full stops at the end

Which only really emphasises what we're saying - it has nothing to do with the planting of trees.:)

For every person who doesn't like it they will chop a tree down

This

It is just like the Andrex ads (or whichever **** roll company it was) who said they would plant a tree for each package bought. If they were sincere about sustainability then they wouldn't use such a gimmick in order garner support/custom.
