There's torrent sites out there but we can't mention them here. Google is your friend.

There's a program called Ares you could try.
#3
Well as you used Demonoid, just go on Google and type torrent. An almost unlimited supply of sites :lol:

Just out of interest, whats the position on posting urls to torrent 'related' site? Not actual trackers/indexers etc just news sites that review (scene/p2p) releases, give general tech news etc? I suppose thats a no-no too?

That looks like a Kazaa/Morpheus rip to me. And they want paying for it. How unique, in a non wonderful type way:thinking:

Bit torrent, the program is completely free and legal. then you can google any torrent you want. of course you should only download legal torrents. :whistling:
#9
Dont download ares, kazaa, limewire etc.. they are all full of viruses..

Whos heard of DC++??

The best program I've ever used and will always use!

ARES been using it for years great propgramme.
#11
I used to use torrents but have found newsgroups to be loads better!
#12
Check out jamendo and songbird.

Ares=spyware
Songbird is a media player, not a P2P client.

Kiwinator, why do none of those programs you listed work on your computer?
#14
thinks there's one called sharebear or bearshare cant remeber what its called now.. try to google both in and see what you get. Imesh is another one, not sure how good it is now not used it for a long while...

Guess.... :lol:

I did use it in the past and it IS good. The problem I had though was that the good servers need a big share ratio and it takes DAYS for it to hash up the TB's of data:whistling:

That's why I ended up going over to the dark side of utorrent.

Id stay away from Imesh completely trashed my Hard Disk few years ago. I stay away from LimeWire doesn't like vista. I stick with torrents seem ok enough.

Newsgroups are alot better that torrents - for £5 a month you can max out your connection and get all the latest things...:s
#21
Also never had problems with ARES, i use ARES for songs, Torrents sometimes, but theres a forum called paulpbaker.com always loads of up to date vids, software etc, need to register and its free.

But what about old stuff? That was the beauty of demon. It had such a vast library of links that covered just about everythind AND an excellent search engine so you could actually find what you wanted.

Oh and I don't think anybody mentioned Winmx. That was another good one. Not sure what it's like now though.

Try shareaza, (as mentioned previously, no issues with SKYBROADBAND. SKY cap P2P's.
NO adds aswell.
