gf's sister has started lipotrim, i was having a butchers yesterday at whats inside those things and the cals etc

she pays near on £50 a week and for that she has 3 packs of either soup or shake

which over the date works out to be about 500 cals

but surely if she took a multi vit and 2 bowls of cereal (150 cals each) and a healthy meal for example skinless chicken and salad wouldnt it have the same affect ?

Looks like she is just looking for an easy way of loosing weight.......WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY !!
she is living in dream world if she thinks that it will stay off once she has lost what she wants!!
She has to change diet and lifestyle FOREVER !! to stay slim.......
Hopefully one day she will wake up and smell the coffee!!
their is no quick fix in weight reduction.
once she goes back to eating over 2000 calories a day the wight will just pile back on ........AND because she has starved her system on this REDICULOUS DIET FIX her body will hold on to MORE FAT then ever before as an emergency storage. So she can expect to pile on at least another 1.5 stones after she comes off the stupid diet!! (so if she weighed 18 stone before this diet she will probably end up weighing at least 19.5 stone later)

yeah and just watch the weight pile back on when she starts eating what she ate before she started this FAD !!
does she think the fairies just came along in the middle of the night with a spare tyre??

Dub1 you're completely correct (apart from the taking multivitamins- try fruit n veg instead. She is being exploited by a crooked company who prey on people's insecurities.
Its unhealthy, it doesnt work for almost all users, when it does work the effects are temporary and it makes you feel bloody miserable thoughout.
Like everyone else says above- a sensible lifestyle is all you need

if someone took 2 years to pile on an extra 2 stone it should take 1 year to sensibly remove it any faster and your system will just learn to store extra fat !
so loosind 2.5 stone in 8 weeks is just a waste of time............i would estimate if she now ate more then 1200 calories a day her body will be over storing fat !!
and on a normal intake of calories for a women should be 2000 calories.

yea she has only been on it a week and my missus and her are fighting like cat and dog, she has been so moody and has fainted a few times, but she was fooled by the story's of success and how it was run by a chemist etc, i am just off out now but rep will be left for you all,

lipotriam and lighter life are a complete waste of money. Once the person starts eating properly again they will inevitably put the weight back on again - she should try to eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise

Also 500 calories isnt sustainable - a normal woman should eat approx 2000 a day on a diet and approx 1400 (dependent on her weight) when dieting. You can easily burn 1400 off in a day

does anyone now how many cals would be used in a 30 min bike ride or would say an hours walk with the dog burn more, the thing is its working as she texted her sister saying she had lost 7lbs thats since monday

guys i need some more help lol missus took the printing off this topic to her sister and she seems like she has listen to some of the answer's but has a few questions, so i thought someone who no's there stuff may be able to help
1) what will eating 1200 cals a day, do any better then just eating 800
2) if eating 800 cals a day sends your body into starvation mode then why do so many people do it and lose weight. lipotrim for example
3) is there a diet where you can eat food yet still go into ketosis and lose weight

i went on it and lost 4 stone..., ended up putting a stone back on after 3 months, if your gonna go on this i think it ****s your matabilism up like never before.

Just buy her a big bag of Speed (probably less harmful than the stuff she is having!!) and send her out to night clubs at the weekend, that should do it :)

I find yogurt a great meal substitute when losing wait- buy the low/zero fat Greek style stuff packed with protein and eat for breakie and lunch- then have a real dinner with lots and lots of veg,quality protein and some carbs. Couple that with 2 or 3 litres of water and fat melts off.
