she seems fine in herself scoffed her food this morning as usual and wanting to play but she has runny poo which is prob down to the fact that she keeps eating the cats food rather then the kitten food. My mum said its proberly that she was straining to get the poo out?

dont worry too much if the blood is in the poo, its when its running out of the bottom, but if the kitten is running around fine just chill till the vets visit.. hope things go well

My kitten had that the other week once at vets found out he had a bug (like we have flu) vet gave him injection and within 2 days he was back to normal. Hope this helps Gemma :)

Try not to worry. As it's only a kitten I'm sure it's too young for it to be molly or anything else morbid.

Keep it on dry food and get it wormed, thats what'l be causing it to have blood in its poo..
I just got a kitten yesterday and the same thing had happened with that litter of kittens..

let us know how you get on at the vets :)

My cat had this last year, I took her and the poo  to the vets. Both were tested and found out she has type 2 diabeties :-(

Since then, (after many many blood tests and adjusting the dosage), I inject her twice daily with 5 units insulin and have blood tests every 2 weeks now she's stable

Hope your kittens OK  , paws crossed

If the worst happens, you can always get a new one

Hope the little one is ok. I took in a very young female kitten years back that turned up in my garden. She was tiny without any real teeth. Almost immediately after she started what I think was calling for a mate. I got her done and the 'calling' stopped. It could possibly be that she is coming into season. Not sure how soon they are meant to start but my one was tiny.
I hope its not anything serious
Good Luck
