Hi im booking flights through the works travel agents (tesco) and to put luggage on its going to cost and extra £100 as they wont let me add it on just for 1 person it has to be the whole party.

Is there any way i can book luggage separately through a different company and just take the luggage for 1 person as we already have most things at my mums villa we are going to. I think the flights are with thomas cook if thats any help?

Any advice greatfully received.... x

You can normally purchase luggage through the flight operator after you've booked... Who is it?

Can that one person not just take hand luggage only? Its manageable otherwise it seems like a lot of trouble for you!

Heard about something similar on Radio 2 a while ago, here's an article on the same topic:

Contact Thomas Cook directly and ask if you can add baggage after you've booked. I've done it a few times with other agents - you can normally do it via the online check in part of the website.
