Two out of my last three statements from Littlewoods have not been delivered.
as such a £12 admin charge has been put onto my account. has this happened to anyone else? I think they are doing it to raise money, what do you think?

If you ring them up and pleasantly explain the situation and that you are not prepared to pay the charge, they usually take it off. It happened to me when I moved and the statements recently were not forwarded in time. I said I was willing to make a payment there and then which I did.
They did this to me as well - didn't get anything for a while then slapped charges on, threatened so send bailiffs, got abusive on the phone. Haven't touched any of the littlewoods group since. (Though they did sort it after some persuasion it has to be said).
Hi swancut :) As Prissymiss has said if you explain then they should hopefully refund the charges. Happened to me before too and i got them refunded.
Hey, this has just happened to me as well. I'm really confused as I had set up a direct debit to pay an item off over 20 weeks and yet they've sent me a letter saying my payment is late and I have to pay a £12 admin fee! I've checked and re-checked and my details are definitely correct, anyone had this problem?
I ordered a dslite off them via debit card and paid straight away - i wont get charged this will i as my bank accounts like at zero

Also is it true they try to charge you the £25 you got off?

I do know that my account needs to be settled each month but prob like many people I need a reminder in the form of a statement to arrive each month. Most of the time I don't owe any money to them because I have either paid more than is due in the previous month or have nothing owing on the account. You must have a calendar style mind, with due dates imprinted upon it if you are aware of all the different dates of all of your bills and payments without the need for any statement, and you may say then set up a direct debit, but I am self employed and deal in cash so my bank wont always have the correct amount in each month to cover such payment methods.
I don't think the postal strike would have affected last months statement. and I have phoned them up to ask about it, the first guy I spoke to was sure it was down to the postal strike and said he would put me through to the finance department to get the charge removed, however they were less than helpful and said I would have to pay it. When I challenged it and asked for her name, she said I was just looking for an argument and hung up the phone. Rude and disgusting customer services, I will never buy from them again, especially when you can usually get much better deals from better shops from this site.
I do think this is some sort of revenue raising drive by littlewoods, think if they can charge just 500 customers per week @£12, over 1 year this would amount to £312,000. nice. A good little bonus for the bosses at xmas.
Another Littlewoods conspiracy theory. :w00t:

Why worried about your job:p

I am currently on statement number 139 which is over 11 years with littlewoods, its funny that since they introduced an admin fee I have not not received 2 of my last 4 statements, with no problem until this point. I agree whilst it not as big as the kennedy assassination, still a cause for some concern.
No just your sanity. :)

So Littlewoods illegally charge 26,000 customers per year to pay the bonuses of the bosses.

I wonder if the bosses also drove "That Citreon" on that fateful day in Paris 10 years ago?
ahh a denial of working for an **** wipe company!! not.
I think your own sanity is the thing in question, next you will be telling us all that the earth is flat and that Pythagoras should be hung for suggesting otherwise. can't you think of anything other than the latest news story on TV that mat be considered a conspiracy theory. After that you'll be telling us that nick leeson had nothing to do with the collapse of bering bank and that everyone's money is quite safe.
you can only fit five in a citroen (not to be mistaken for your citreon), but only two fat cat littlewoods bosses!! sorry but no room for Diana or your regimented views on society.
9 posts and half of them just getting insulting................way to go the new breed of members.

I hope your including yourself in that! New breed of member indeed:x
The first part of you first post had something to add to the topic, but the second part 'Still, you should know that it still needs paying each month' was actually patronizing, and hence my sarcastic reply. all other posts stuck to the point and thanks to them. except for myself and the saint who engaged in a little fun banter in the early hours of the morning.
