+1 You would have thought people would have learnt by now

yeah thats why any littlewoods deal ends up around -1000%

what thread were you were looking at - did it actually get hot?!?

still looks like people ignore the warnings judging by the amount of happy (albeit briefly) MW2 purchasers there have been today with the new £25 littlewoods codes lol

Indeed, people think they can save money and don't think about the consequences:roll:

mmmm the sceptic in me really does want to believe this 1st time poster who apparently has used vouchers to the value of £190.

I doubt anymore proof will be offered.

true - but if you read through the thread it's plastered with warnings

sounds like someone making up stories!
#16
If it's a made up story it serves no purpose as we see lots of threads about people being contacted about using vouchers that weren't issued to them and having to repay them.

#19

:? must be missing something.

anyway this thread has gone like every other littlewoods code thread, some random low post "member" says they have to pay back x amount, loads of people then come and say you were warned, shouldn't have used them etc etc. al the while the op has vanished and not one other person has came forward and said they to have recieved the same phone call or provided a copy and paste job from a letter or email saying very now own your soul as you used a £10off voucher.

Its about s plausible as the eastern european pedo's that steal kids from asda by shaving their heads in the toilets.

lol @ op ......... 1 post wonder , lol !

Never ever had codes taken back and i must have used over 20 over the last 3 years over 2 different accounts. Not one call from CS and never a letter asking for the discount back.

Until it happens to me , I'll keep on ordering but am also mindful of what I order too and only order items that are worth the amount charged before the discount voucher is deducted.

every time someone pipes up with the "littlewoods want their money back" it's always a person with little post count. I call tosh as I have used codes for years and have never had a problem, although I dont take the pee and only use them to price items competitively
#30
I had a voucher cancelled last year but I didn't get a warning it was a 30% voucher on a nokia 6300 and a walkman w20?thingy. I paid straight away with my card and the accounts balance was clear, 4 statements later the 30% I'd had knocked off about £70 appeared on my statement owing?.
To be fair though they did take them both back and refund me in full even though the phones had been used for about 3 months.

Nevertheless I've never used a voucher with them again.
#31
Littlewoods CANNOT legally take the money after you have paid and you have receivced the items. SEE TRADING STANDARDS!
#32
what has post count got to do with anything? that really makes me :x

he/she had all these problems and felt they should register and post a message warning us all,

why are people so judgmental of new members? you were one once upon a time :)

to the OP thanks for taking the time to post :)

Urm because all this code scaremongering annoys me, I have yet to see any scans of letters people have supposedly received requesting money back.

Don't come into thread such as this then :)

or people stop posting lies with duplicate accounts.

True story - last year my wife ordered something from littlewoods using a code sent to her in the post. She was later the charged the full amount. After several letters and phone calls (including sending proof of the £25 off voucher she was sent in the post) she was eventually refunded. I suspect she won't use any codes sent to her in future. ..........so it does happen.

However if this case is true then they must have used multiple codes/accounts which is definitely asking from trouble.
