They don't show them till closer to the day, and usually give season ticket holders first pick.
#2
You mean go to the match or watch it on telly?

Looks like you're on the liverpool tv website, as they have a sky channel if I'm right in thinking.

Ticket office is best option....

EDIT....

I never knew their home webiste had 'tv' in it. So apologies. As already mentioned they will be released closer to the day and will be given first to season ticket holders.

Give them a ring?

So is there no other way to get them? Without season ticket holders grabbing them first :( and yes its to watch the match at the stadium
#6
They won't sell out with just season ticket holders, they will be some left, they just get priority.

Like I said, ring ticket office, see what they say...

Think you will struggle to get tickets for the everton game they are usually sell out's and no tickets make it to general sale,
You are much more likely to get tickets for games against the smaller teams e.g not Man u,Arsenal,Chelsea,

Good luck anyway and enjoy the game if you get lucky.... Y.N.W.A

Is that the reds membership you mean? I don't get their site really as some games even with membership states I have to have 16 games already purchased on the card thing!
#15
yeh i think so..my son used to get tickets off a friend of mine works there as he had an allocation but the families always want the big games..
#16
Don't think you will get any through the club to be honest as it go's on priority this/last season to how many games you've been too,you could easily pick up home tickets in the general sale for the following months home games against Stoke and Wigan.
#17
Wheres all the plastic scousers? none of them know? :{
#18
friendlies i used to buy for my son from the booking office..
#19
choose a different match or get some off a tout
#20
He don't want a different match that's the problem and I really wanted to get him them!

lol @ Katie's boyfriend being a Liverpool fan.

Still... he does get to play doctors and nurses with Katie :/

Life = Unfair.
#22
Haha vb1!!! Whatever he wants, he gets! I may just buy him a man u ticket :p
#23
Will be nigh on impossible to get them. Best chance could be looking at hospitality packages will probably give you a better chance but does not come cheap ISLA conservatory comes in @ 225 each i think.

Or Thomas cook sell packages with hotel but again are about £200 each
#24
Yeah I have seen them but not looking to pay that to be honest!

Hi Katie

Your boyfriend has chosen one of the most eagerly anticipated games of the season.

The tickets will be divided as follows (most probably):

1. Season ticket holders (who are guaranteed their seat)

2. Members sale - people who are registered with the club. Members will be required to have at least 3 specified tickets on their membership. Basically this means that they must have attended 3 previous matches and as this is a Category A game it will be Arsenal, Chelsea and say Sunderland.

3. Finally, if there are any remaining tickets they will go on general sale, but once again people who wish to buy them will need to have previous specified matches on their account (away fans to games like Utd will get priority).

To think that you can just turn up at the biggest game of the season and expect to get a ticket at the expense of a fan who turns up to every game is a bit unreasonable.

So to summarize, you have no chance of getting a ticket through the official channels. You could try buying one from a tout outside the ground but I would advise against it and it would cost a few hundred quid per ticket. Maybe he should choose a game which is a bit more realistic.

Not exactly unreasonable if I can get one through the site though is it when they may be up for grabs!! My boyfriend is unrealistic which is why I asked for advice.

There is a chance that Everton won't sell out there allocation and you just may be able to buy them on general sale for their end but you would have to be very lucky. You're best chance would be a tout.

it is a bit unreasonable, real fans who turn upto the games getting shafted by "fans" who watch the odd game on the tele. The club has recognised this by introducing the priority scheme. The tickets won't be "up for grabs" for just anybody, purchasers will need specified previous tickets on their account
#34
Well my boyfriend works 7 days a week but never misses a game on the tele so I thought it would be a nice present!! No need to get moody over it when all I was doing was asking if there is a way how! How pathetic some people are on here!
#35
*katie*
You saying it's unreasonable if I manage to get a ticket?? My gosh get a life your not the only Liverpool supporter in the world. Just because it's harder to see a match doesn't mean we don't watch them on tele or support them other ways.

That's not what he's saying to stop an argument. That's just the facts if you manage to get a ticket good on you.

Im not getting moody over it, I'm just saying its reasonable that the club recognise the people who keep the club going week in week out.

You made out like were just a 'fan' who catch the 'odd game' when in fact a fan who watches every game, my boyfriend is so busy and he wanted to see this not knowing about how to get tickets (nor did I know) I only wanted advice not to be critisized by it!
#38
He isn't criticising, he is just laying out the facts, that those who see all the games of the majority will get tickets to this match, and people who watch on the tv even if it is every game will not. He is stating this is a fair system, which it is. You will have no chance at getting these tickets, even though you are such die hard fans as you suggest.
#39
*katie*, rory is right that it's nigh on impossible to get tickets for the derby unless you do so otuside the ground on the day (and the touts will fleece you for those). Best bet is for both of you to join the All Red Membership scheme, and then keep your eye on the selling details on the online ticket sales section of the website - you'll get tickets that way for almost any league game (apart from Everton or United).

I watch every game Katie, and I didn't take any looking down on me from the replies there the facts, Liverpool football club want to prioritise the fans that have worked (paid to watch) the most games and season ticket holders first, make sense guaranteed money.

I am in the same situation as you to busy to go to every game to eventually get the chance to buy the odd ticket, otherwise I would be there every week.
