Couldnt see 1 of these threads?

What do you think the problem is with lfc at the mo.

Is it me or WHY OH WHY OH WHY does benitez keep playing veronin and lucas.
Mind you, IMO over half of the current team aren't worthy of pulling on an lfc jersey.

Cant believe the miss veronin just made!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rafa is a clown, Can't believe how long he's managed to keep his job.

We saved his job,

I'm pleased we did, While ever Rafa's in charge Liverpool won't win much.

United loosing to Liverpool could bizarrely of worked in our favour.

Yes after sacrificing the Premiership, True European Champions win their domestic leagues as well.

Rafa is getting older but not wiser, Perhaps he's losing his marbles or something, What have you won in the last couple of years?

Rafa's virtually managed to get you knocked out of virtually every cup this season.

You're out of the Carling Cup, Virtually out of the Champions League and Premiership race.

You'll probably be struggling to claim a Champions League place for next season at this rate.

What can Liverpool achieve this season? FA Cup or UEFA Cup which you'll probably not win either based on current performances.

Hardly consolation prizes, So early in the season as well.

Rafa's turning Liverpool into a laughing stock, His managerial skills are being questioned and rightly so.

Liverpool got their highest ever points tally last season, 86, and finished 2nd just 4 points behind the winners.

You don't go from that to a **** manager in a few months. All managers go through a rough patch, much like Mr Ferguson did many years ago, 1 game from the sack, just about managed to win it, and look what happened since.

Could last season not just have been a purple patch, rather than this being a 'rough patch'?

Not that I'm criticising him - I want him to stay as Liverpool manager forever. He's my hero in many ways:-D
#36
A couple of years before he also took Liverpool their next highest points tally, 82. He's extended the record twice.

I agree with you. He's the best man for the job and no matter what happens, he should stay in charge.

For ever, and ever.

Theirs no real prize for coming second, Ok it's probably got more to do with Alonso's departure, Gerrard and Torres absences and beach balls etc.

In my opinion Rafa lacks that certain ingredient that top managers have, His choice of players, Who he buys etc..

Too many flops, Not enough overall quality, Liverpool can genuinely compete with anyone on the day but not consistently. Rafa needs to motivate his players better, Lift their confidence.

One defeat isn't the end, It's the following results that matter more, If you lose you win your next game etc.

Something Fergie gets from his players, Time and time again, Even with out the worlds best player. United are proving theirs life with out Ronaldo, Just as they did when we sold Beckham.
#39
livepool are a joke. if they continue as they are, they'll sneak into the europa league - for next season!
#40
I think he's a good manager who's been a bit unlucky with injuries, sacking him could make things alot worse.
He could have made a few better signings but that could be said of nearly all managers.
They should have won tonight but nothing seems to be going his way at the minute & I kind of fell sorry for him a bit.
