1.Get a underground day pass for zones 1-2 for travelling around London.

2.Don't Visit madame tussauds.

C.As for hotels, I stayed in the Travel Lodge by the Tower bridge I think, in the middle of London, nice hotel.

Oyster card might work out better value....... £3 deposit on it then top up when needed..
No other ticket needed, It gives you the best rate ticket price when you travel..Also buses included.

Ok, your train arrives at St Pancras. Go to the underground ticket office and get an Oyster card each (deposit £3) and put £10 each on it, this should cover you for the weekend and you can get your deposit and any cash left on it back when you leave. The Oyster card always works out cheaper than buying day passes. You can then get the underground or a bus to central London. Have a brilliant time.
ps I agree - don't go to Madame Tusaud's - it's naff!

DID you know for 2 cokezone points ( 500ml bottle) you can get £5 off madamme tussauds or The Dungeons.
Might save you all some cash especially if one of you has a cokezone account
