London are top of the league!!! :)

I just thought I'd mention this, that the top 3 teams of the premier league are all from London (Arsenal aren't top only cos we have a game in hand)

Does this mean that London are superior to the rest of the country? :p

I think that's probably unlikely since they struggled against newly promoted Wolves at home. :whistling:

That's only cos we have a game in hand...we would of been top on goal difference since the opening day of the season, since we have had bigger victories (we have plus 8 after 2 games, whereas you lot have plus 6 after winning an extra game, so we would of been ahead at stage 2.)

You won't be top of the league for long, you lot were 100/1 a couple weeks ago but now you're something like 40/1....which is hilarious because the typical overhyped Spurs fans are all wasting there money on Spurs winning the league now. :giggle:

Only cos they've both played more games than us...we haven't even broken a sweat yet and are winning every game comfortably. :-D

We've both got some difficult fixtures coming up, we've got United and City both away and you've got Brum but then you've also got United and Chelski, so we're both probably gonna drop some points. :)

......either that or people are going to start writing off Man United even more after they drop some more points. :giggle:

You've already said we wouldn't be top of the league for long, yet here we are back on top.

brb betting Ars*nal win nothing once again, as per usual.

You lot haven't won a trophy for god knows how long.

***Please note*** the league cup does not count, as no one deems that as a trophy...that's why it's called the plastic cup. :giggle:

You didnt claim that the last time you won it.

Jus sayin.

Man City didn't struggle against wolves, they're strikers were just rubbish and missed basically 20 chances to score.

They're going to romp someone by 4-5 margin in the next couple of weeks....

I've never ever said that. :?

I wouldn't of minded if our reserves would of won it because it would of given the kids a nice confidence boost winning the youth cup. :-D

Yeah....and imagine what's going to happen when City face someone with a bit of quality, they could of been slaughtered in their own back yard against newly promoted opposition....but then again, United already knows how that feels albeit away from home. :p

Haven't Manchester United won 11 out of 17 Premier League titles, including the last three?

Doesn't that make them the best?

They're no longer the best though, their team is quite weak this season and blatantly have the weakest midfield in the top 4, whereas that's where all the battles are won.

Wow.......... I'd imagine my 1977/78 season of over 50 games in one season should cover. But raise the bar if you like.

Didn't quite see 50 games in 77, but went to most home matches. Plus I was at Wembley to see us stop the scousers do the treble! Seen hundreds of games since though.

And yes, football is very important!

100s? Pah, just a pup.

81 and 82 was particularly nice for Wembley trips. 7 times in 15 months. I doubt its possible to beat that tally tbh though with semis being played there now, maybe..

You can't change the bet....be brave mate, lets see who'll do better this season, otherwise I could easily do a bet something like I bet Spurs won't win any meaningful trophies for 10 years in a row. :giggle:

Did anyone see Noel Gallagher on Match of the Day last night? The commentator asked him what he missed about City being at Maine Rd and he said " The sight of cockneys trembling trying to get a taxi in Moss Side" I was pmsl as I used to live near Maine Rd and remember those days lol.

Dunno why he would have said that. It was always a stroll in the park every time I went there. Then again, who would actually be frightened on Noel Gallagher?
