Hi all, i am planning to take my oh and my ten year old daughter to london at the end of May for the weekend and do the tourist thing.Either staying from Friday evening and returning Monday morning or arriving there early Saturday and returning monday.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a Bed and Breakfast or travel lodge type of place on the outskirts of central london close to a tube line so we can travel in by tube.

Do not want to stay in central london as told its too expensive and will be in our car as wish to travel to potters bar area to visit friends.

Hope some one can recommend something for us. Thanks in advance.

Regards

Roy

Hi Roy, A friend of mine always stays at the ILford Travelodge & gets the bus or tube into central London from there. At the moment saver rooms are available for the 30th & 31st of May & 1st June . Take a look & see what you think , Darren. https://www.travelodge.co.uk/find_a_hotel/hotel.php?hotel_id=46

Cheshunt 5.6 miles from potters bar Travelodhe has 31st = £39 1st £19 and 2nd £29 pretty good deal especially if you can get the family rooms - but you will have to book very soon has to be 21 days before
