Hi!

I tried to play flight gear with my 2 year old Laptop , and it is to slow .
It is a pentium M processor .
Can I pimp my laptop easily or is it simpler to buy a new one.

What should I look when I buy one for playing flight simulator or pc games .

And if someone knows a free simple flight simulatur,that what be great.

Google Earth or you could try to find a v7 copy of Xplane : http://www.x-plane.com/

It's unlikely you can upgrade your system as it's very rare to be able to upgrade the graphics card which is probably where you need it most.

In general flight sims have demanding specs for newer games, ideally you need a machine with a decent processor, ram and graphics card - there's not really any aspects you can skimp on.

I recommend ORBITER its a space sim you can fly to different planets and land on the moon - great fun and its free

Edit: By the way, this is what I used to play back in the day : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunship_%28video_game%29

Looks a bit **** by todays standards but was excellent back then (along with X-Wing).
