Not about government conspiracies or anything but I recently read:
The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Nightime - Mark Haddon
which without doubt is the best book that I have ever read in my life.
It won the 2003 Whitbread Book of the Year and the 2004 Commonwealth Writers' Prize for Best First Book.
HTH.

I like Bill Bryson's books. He's a travel writer if you didn't know... and you learn a lot about the places he visits and the things he does in such an amusing way with his pretty sarcastic wit and exploration.

Is there any books that someone can recommend?, Something that has a psychological type side to them.

I like reading conspiracies or the type of books that make you think twice about everything....

I'd go for that too, I had it recommended to me a while back and couldn't put it down, read it in two sittings.

Stupid White Men by Michael Moore - good book. Loses its way a little but still an interesting read.

I've only read one Dan Brown and thought him a pretty poor writer. Rather than read the Da Vinci code you may want to read the book the conspiracy theory is based on "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail".

Just type "conspiracy theory" into the book search of Amazon and you'll get lots of suggestions.....

Conspiracy Theories Pocket Essentials
Did you think the X-Files is fiction? If so, you must be one of those deluded fools who think Elvis is dead, and believe that the US actually went to the moon, and don't know that the ruling elites did a deal with the extra-terrestrials after the Roswell crash in 1947... Boy, it really is getting strange out there. At one time, you could blame the world's troubles on the Masons or the Illuminati, or the Jews, or One Worlders, or the Great Communist Conspiracy. Now, in addition to the usual suspects, we also have the alien-US elite conspiracy, or the alien shape-shifting reptile conspiracy to worry about - and there are books to prove it as well! Conspiracy Theories - they are all in here - but not just lined up to be ridiculed and dismissed. OK, there is some of that, but the author also tries to sort out the handful of wheat from the choking clouds of intellectual chaff. For, among the nonsensical Conspiracy Theory rubbish currently proliferating on the Internet, there are important nuggets of real research about real conspiracies waiting to be mined. This book has done the mining for you. Fully sourced and referenced, this is both a serious examination of Conspiracy Theories and the Conspiracy Theory phenomenon, and a guide to further explorations of the subject.

Don't believe everything you read. A fellow resident at the halls of residence I was in, once asked at breakfast if we'd heard about the B52 bombers that had been found on the moon. When we all scoffed at this he was convinced it was true as he had read about it in the newspaper (the sunday sport....)

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance?

Catch 22? you'll certainly have to read that twice to make any sense of it. Brilliant book - if I had to pick 10 books to read that would have to be one of them...

Dont think you can go wrong with James Patterson books.
