I have looked at the Center parcs site and wondered if there was anywhere similar that doesn't cost as much that anyone knows off?

3 adults and 2 children for 10 days Half Board at Centerparcs Fri 26th - Mon 5th is £2,127.02 which when u add travel costs on is too much for us

Any advice appreciated - spent lots of time Googling various Gemany Holiday Park type searches but to no avail

Don't want to camp or caravan
Want half board
Want a pool
Northern Germany

thanks
nicojo :)

Whoooooooooosh.

Not really. Trying to turn a pointless remark into something of potential use for the OP. So whoooosh to you too!

This won't be much help, but you want a pool, no doubt complete with sunloungers, in Germany? Are you mad?

I know its not Germany, but we really enjoyed Duinrell, near The Hague in Holland.

Thanks for all the replies guys

We have been to Centerparcs Germany a few times and the price has gone up this year

Used to fantastic indoor pools at them and amazing variety of food, but I think that's typical Germany

I looked at the Centerparcs in Holland and its even more expensive

The Germany Centerpars is 5 star tho, so perhaps the prices are deserved - we'd rather pay less for less facilities

thanks, nicojo :)

What was the breakfast and dinner like?

In the info it says breakfast is oven-fresh croissant, a bread roll, savory and sweet toppings, butter, a boiled egg, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee, organic tea, cappuccino or café au lait.
Is that all there is on offer?

And dinner - is that only "soups, pizzas, lasagna, assorted a la minute pasta dishes, antipasti dishes and salads"?

Thanks

We didn't eat there, we were self-catering.
