My advice would be to look for a "pre-registered" car
Couple of thousand on it still got most of 3 year warranty and the couple of thousand miles just proves for you it has no production faults, would make a world of difference to price you pay.
Remember the minute you buy a new car it becomes second hand and it's value will be the same a a pre reg.
These cars are sold by the same franchise dealers !!
Just to add if you look hard enough you will find some with less than 100 miles on clock
and end of month is best time to try.....

why brand new? for 8.5k your looking at a kia or hyundai etc etc, if you say go to motorpoint you could get a 12 month old motor or less, you could pick up a nice focus for that sort of money, you know you will lose a grand as soon as you drive of the forecourt i would never buy a new car.

i just had a 2010 corsa from rental place. i didn't like it..it tells you when to gear up and when you arent wearing a seat belt. and them c'mon adverts obviously mean come on can't you go any faster is that all you've got..
