deffo a trip to the Dr's for that one, not worth speculating on what it could be

sunburn? god its been cold and dull here all week. more likely to get rust spot!
why dont you pop in to your local chemist and ask the pharmacist for some advice? If they see it, they might be able to recommend something to help.

yeah this happened to my mate last year when we went bulgaria, he is fair skinned and got really sunburnt, the rep told him to put yoghurt all over his body which he did and he said it really did do the trick, would definately recommend that u see ur gp tho just to make sure its not too serious....better to b safe than b sorry!

Whatever you decide to do, make sure you drink lots of water.

might be worth trying for an appointment, most surgeries release appointments for the afternoon at lunch time, also there may be a cancellation, would put your mind at rest. Hope you get it sorted soon

I've had some serious encounters with sunburn over the years as I have very fair skin. The worst was in Portugal a few years ago. My entire back and neck erupted all over with blisters and my calves were so badly burnt I couldn't walk for two days. Jokingly my friends still call me 'Mr Burns' to this day!

The UK sun has also killed me on numerous occasions, I can't stay out in it for long without suncream.

same here, was in ibiza and it was one of the hottest days, put plenty of this special P40 suncream that a mate had which didnt work, suffered for over 1/2 the holiday with my entire back covered in blisters, worst part of it was when it went itchy, couldnt stand it!

do you have an NHS walk in centre nearby? I would sudgest going there

If you cant get an appointment to see your GP today make an appointment for as soon as. Still go see the chemist but I wouldnt just leave it there, make sure you go the GP. Giving NHS direct is worth a shot but they always just tell me to visit my GP - great advice lol

It's cos you're a blue, ya skin is fighting the urge to turn red :p

lol @^^

anyway i got checked out and its just my skin reacting to the sun protecting itself, so if anyone ever comes accross this then its nothing too bad.

thanks to everyone for the advice
