  [FONT=Verdana]Have you checked out the Dell UK Outlet at all? If you purchase from there your looking about roughly £200.00p with a one year warranty in place for the netbook as well.
  
  I suppose the key question is how much is your budget and are you planning to run Mac OS X on it?
  
  If you do and want to stick with a Dell netbook then it would be a Dell Mini 9 or 10v.

  Thats exactly what i plan to do. i have looked on dell but tbh im not bothered about it being brand new as long as it is in working nick. It will no doubt get knocked around in my bag from time to time. if anything i want there to be a few skuffs so i dont worry about keeping it new.

  [FONT=Verdana]No probs mate - I've come across a number of Dell Mini 10 and 10v on there with six cell batteries along with other upgrades.
  
  Good luck finding one - BTW are you planning to buy a 10v, to run it as a Hacintosh?

  Cheers mate ! gizmodo is my daily site so thats were i got the idea to do it. Would you happen to know if a normal 10 would work or do you need a 10v ? whats the difference?
  
  edit: just googled for a bit i found that the 10 cannot be hackintosh'd too easily

  Unfortunately for the 10 series range it's only the 10v that can run with Mac OS X - it's down to the graphics adapter being used on the 10 model line from what I can remember; in addition to that it's also limited to one gigabyte's worth of memory, which is integrated onto the CPU via a daughter-card.
  
  The 10v can have a maximum of two gigabytes worth of memory installed into it and it also uses the same graphics adapter as the Dell Mini 9 from what I've read.

  ive got the 8gb ssd...probably not the best to do it on id imagine, and 2gb of ram (came with 1gb). Although ive got XP on there atm and tbh nothing gets stored on it its literally XP+Word and thats about it, the little bit of music thats kept on it is on the SD along with personal files.

  [FONT=Verdana]If your in New York, then you might want to check out the local dealers over there - you can get it slightly cheaper in the US but the stumbling block is the currency conversion rate and also whether they have it in stock (popular hardware range over there is the Runcore PCI-E SSD for the Dell Mini 9).
  
  Ah, your one of the lucky members that bought it last year from Dell UK then - I remember that, as that was quite a popular deal coup with them! :-D
  
  Edit - You might want to check out the For Sale sub-forum at MyDellMini and post in a thread to see if anybody is selling off 16GB+ PCI-E SSD...just a thought.
