Hi, having real problems getting my daughters laptop and sons pc linked to my new Virgin wireless router. We did get the laptop connected fine for a while then went away for New Year and used a wireless dongle and now we can't get it connected too. I know its a long shot but thought I'd give you guys a go cos you are usually a great help, before I bring in the expensive guys! Thanks for all help, rep added to all.

Yes, we used a wireless dongle in the back of his computer which worked great until we changed broadband provider.

Just to let you know, I was with VIrgin for a while and getting the PS3, two PC's and a laptop to connect was a ******** mare'. Might not be the same problem but it could be something to do with your encryption (WEP/WP-PSK thingy). I was lucky enough to have a friendly nerd visiting me a month after getting it, otherwise I would have had to have paid for an expert to come out....And the virgin 'help center' were about as much help as a chocolate fireguard - the bloke on the other end of the phone told me he had never heard of a Playstation and asked i it was a wind up!

Yes, they did.

You need to describe the problem. Saying you can't connect isn't very helpful without the details of what's going wrong, where and when.

Can you see the new wireless network for the new router?
If you try and connect does it work correctly and allow you to put in a password?
If you're putting in a password in is it the same password you were using before or one that came with the router?
And so on...
