Looking for some help with Monitors

Hey there, I've just recently started Uni (Portsmouth) and I'm doing Computer Animation. I already have two screens, a 17" Acer and a 15" Widescreen Samsung TFT. The 17" is my main screen but I need to get Rid of the 15" as it's a little small and It's hard to do anything design related.

I was thinking of getting a 24" Screen to accompany the 17" or I may just keep all three of them but I don't see the need for it.

I don't really have a budget at present but it's been like 4 weeks and moneys just been flying out the window so I need something relatively cheap but also good.

I'd like to find something with a good resolution and something that has really good colour. Size, no smaller than 22" and no larger than 26" but if there is a screen bigger for less (cost) and better then I wont mind.

I have no idea what to look for so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Sergio.

I'd recommend saving up for a good 24", don't go for the cheap one if colour matters to you.

I haven't looked at monitors for a while but i've heard a lot of good stuff about IPS monitors.
