Hi. I bought an ergoflex one direct from them and it is amazing! I have tried a tempur one, and I couldn't tell the difference (1/3 of price though). Would not go back to an ordinary mattress again.

Which version do you have, seem very steep priced on the site on sale.

just get an always comfy waterbed instead

Can't say I'm a fan of that idea. knowing my luck it would pop lol.

Go to a bed shop or IKEA and try them.

Make up your mind after that.

(BTW IKEA are offering an exchange if you change your mind after trying it for a couple of weeks)

Try Try Try......

you may not be able to tell exactly what a bed will feel like in a shop, but yiou stand a waaaaay better chance than from ebay...

I've read to steer clear of the extra on top thin memory foam add-ons....
and that memory foam (whilst actually needing the heat to mold, can also get quite hot, even with the new cool fabrics.

there are some nice pocket sprung matresses about now with built in latex or memory foam tops.
Memory foam isn't for everyone... have you slept on one before?
I really would try laying on some...

The memory foam is 10cm, overall 23cm
#10
I think i read somewhere you're not supposed to get one less than 5 inches deep.

I really want one,but it all seems too complicated on whats best to buy so i never end up buying one lol
#11
I also have a ergoflex, and can recommend. Although if you life a soft mattress it may not suite you.

The ebay ones will be low density foam ie 45kg etc. the ergoflex are 85kg. Also they have a 9cm thick layer, where ebay one you may get about 5cm of memory foam. also they are very good quality.

Ignore the sale they always have that thing on.

Nab, that's not true at all, 10cm of memory foam is plenty, I'm more than happy with mine
#13
Maybe it was 2.5 inches then lol
#14
There seems to be plenty at 10 cm on eBay.

Another vote for ergoflex here, when I have the dosh this is the one I am going to get, read the reviews and seems the best around. I wouldn't be concerned about the cost given that you spend more time in bed than anywhere else. £400 for 5+ years of 8 hours a night isn't really that bad.

I'm all for taking the reviews but I just don't see how there is a great difference between the different ones it's not like a matress where materials are different they all use the same materials just at different densitys.

This one is 75Kg/ m3 density for 1/3 of the price. (Ebay : 260540898418) Views?

Perfect! Why spend £400+ when this is basically the same but without a fortune spent on marketing!

So what does the 3inch memory foam mean, only the top of the mattress is memory foam and the rest is normal foam?

That's not strictly true.

If you buy cheap imported Chinese ones, there is a good chance there will be a lot of crap in the foam. The foam is expensive to produce, so they tend to fill it out with other materials to bring the costs down, hence the cheap price.

read the part Not All Memory Foams are Created Equal

And the above one you posted, 360262208631 I like their distribution centre they must be Amazon;). Or must think people are thick.

^^ To be fair that is an advert, they are unlikely to say how good others are, and that is the problem with ebay although they have 26,000 feedback which I must admit seems amazing you still don't reallt know what you are buying. The ergoflex appealed to me because it has independant (if there is such a thing) awards.

Looking at the ebay one though it is very tempting, but would I always wonder if the ergoflex would have been better.

Easiest way to look at it. Will leave it until I can make a decent view.

The second one you qouted seems to have 100% feedback and people are impressed with price and quality.

Yes that one is.

Just one of the the first links off google, but have a look around there are plenty of independent studies

http://www.myfoammattress.net/memory/discount-density.html

Just a few more from the top of google, none of these sites sell you anything.

with their prices, they would say that lol

mine is over a year old now and is as good as the day I bought it. Perfectly comfy so good enough for me and 25900 of those 26000 ebay buyers!

pay 4 times the price if it makes you feel better :)

Very true but generally when something is cheap it is so for a reason, If 10 firms are all selling the same density foam thickness quality etc for around the same price, and then you get someone selling it for half the price, alarm bells ring for me.

And yes i did look around on ebay first, before buying mine. But decided against it after buying a pillow off there. Compared to my tempur ones it's crap to say the least, it does not hold its shape, its light as a feather, you sink in way to much. but i thought i would give one of the contoured pillows a try, and it was cheap enough. Never again.

The ones on ebay are being sold by 4 or 5 companies.

Pillow might be a good option to try.

I spent 2 years trying out new beds and ended up helping out in a bed store for a while and the best ever was pocket sprung with latex on the top.
I would say pure latex as I did have Dunlopillo pure latex so bought some new ones and they are much harder and thicker so not as comfy perhaps I need a couple more years to bed them in?
I have heard bad reviews about cheap memory foam as they only have a very thin layer on top and normal foam underneath.
Good luck as it is a mine field!!!

On this item its quite interesting.

“I am sleeping so much better, since I purchased the memory foam mattresses from you. My leg cramps have gone thank goodness! I give your
company 10/10 for comfort, quality and service. Keep up the good work."

Symptoms my wife has been getting on my matress every now and then.
