I am looking to go to Milan for a game this season, anyone got any general advice on this from previous experience?

Does anyone know how far in advance the kick off times get changed?

Best places to stay at equivalent of travelodge standard?

Cheers all!

I thought you were a fan, I remember you buying the Pirlo shirt! Why don't you go for a game?

go watch inter instead!! i managed to get some tickets for the derby a few years ago off some lads in dundee who had inter season tickets. was the best match ive ever been to & the missus cant wait to go back.

if you get tickets for one of the bigger matches from the black market it will have someone elses name on them. due to the violence that marred a game in sicilly they police got tight on it. when we went we simply went to the ticket office with our passports & they changed the name there and then. good job because police were checking, but that was the derby.

the guiseppe meazza is class.

Thanks for the info people. I am moreof a Milan fan tbh, I've heard you can get tickets for big games without blackmarket fromMilan directly or from here http://www.mpestero.com/reservation.aspx Where did you stay? Other than the stadium tour did you do anything else?

Last time i went (and was the same for real madrid) if you phone the normal ticket hotline and ask to speak to an English person they will put you through. Once we had our tickets delivered to our hotel and picked them up from reception

Cool. What game did you see? Do you remember the name of the hotel that you stayed at?

I used stadium.it for my tickets to the Milan derby in January 2010 and used travelrepublic to find a hotel. Obviously they are an agent so they add their own mark up as it was a sold out match but i paid 125euros for category 2 side view tickets and it was worth every penny!

Cool, thats one of the games I am thinking about! Do you remember the name of the hotel you stayed at? How many days were you there for? Can you remember how much it cost you all in?

i went about 3 years ago to see them play Bologna. Just walked up and bought tickets from the booth before the match. Cost us about 20 Euros each....
