Hi guys, I really need some help.

It all started few days ago, I find it more and more difficult to charger my laptop. The charger is very loose, I have to find the right spot and hold it in that place to charge my laptop. My laptop is Toshiba L40, about 3 years old.

I really need this problem fixed as the laptop is very important to me, because I am student at college and all the work need to done on my laptop. This same problem happened to my sisters laptop 6 months ago but she still using her somehow.
I cannot afford loss my laptop.
Please help.

Blu-Tak ftw!
Or wrap cellotape round it to make the connection snugger.

Is it definitely the charger or is it the socket inside the laptop?

You can get chargers on fleabay cheap but it MIGHT be the conncter inside has come away from its solder on the board

Worth taking steps to save any really important stuff on your laptop to another place just in case its the connections on the laptop at fault and then you cant charge it at all.

Probs the charger. I got a cheapo one on eBay and it fits much more snuggly than my official Toshiba one ever did.

Can always remove the drive and pop it in a USB caddy.

Assuming you have one handy. Something I would need to add to the list :)
Can you get something similar for a pc hard drive? Just asking.
