Lost a stone out my engagement ring... anyone help?

Ive just noticed one of the 2 diamonds has gone missing from my engagement ring. The ring is 10 years old so happy nothing has happened before now but wondered if anyone knew anything about replacing it?

Would i be able to get another stone put in, not neccesarily another diamond but a stone that looks similar (and cheaper). Anyone know a rough price for replacing it?

Ive no idea on price or what to do.. im totally gutted as i love my ring ...

Oh bad luck that's so annoying. Is the ring insured? Mine's on the home insurance so if anything like this happens it's covered; same thing happened to a friend of mine at a trail biking competition and she had to get it re-done.....a local jeweller will definitely be able to replace the stone, probably with whatever you want. They will be able to give you an idea of prices depending on what you choose.

I didn't mention warranty

I just thought that maybe if she took it back to the place they might give her a discount :p
