Lost Planet (360) Extra Multiplayer Map - One Use Only!

In Friday's MCV Industry magazine I received a one use only code to download an extra multiplayer map (called Dilapidation) for Lost Planet on the 360.

The map will only be available to those who preorder and codes should be shipping to retail shortly. Unfortunately I'm having teething problems with my Live account so rather than let it go to waste I thought someone else might make use of it if they're enjoying the demo.

Code: XR2X7-6W9KM-XY86H-4G38R-H9HCQ
To redeem go to Xbox Live Marketplace and select 'Redeem Prepaid Card'.

Please post when you have used the code, out of consideration for other members. Thanks.

From what you say it sounds like this map will be available for purchase on the marketplace for everyone else, otherwise how would they get to play it. It's a slightly worrying trend for developers to delibritely hold back things like entire levels/characters/cars which would all have been included in a 'complete' game if the marketplace didn't exist.

What we may be left with ultimately is a fully stripped down base of a game (Still at RRP £49.99) and having to buy all the extra bits afterwards - see EA's marketplace strategy for a scary distopia just around the corner.

I totally agree! I was shocked to learn that alot of game developers are making these 'striped' down games for the 360! I will definately be wary of buying a half ass game from EA in the future.
