I watched this on Thursday.
I can't believe they killed Sawyer off in the first 10 minutes.

That was a joke to.

He doesn't die really.

First half of season 1 was too boring for me to get into the rest of it.
#4
i feel asleep half way through the second episode....looks like the long wait wasn't worth it!
#5
Will be watching it myself, was going to download it, but decided to wait, looking forward, and far from bored with the series personally.

PS Thanks for the spoiler, I now know they do not kill off sawyer in these episodes ;)

prison break has 6 episodes to go-they are rewriting them to finish the story up properly-starts in april in america.

I've never watched it before, is it any good? :?

Prison Break I used to love, but think its lost the plot to be honest, season three was poor and the first few episodes i have watched of season 4 i have found to be not very interesting, enough to have the divx of further episodes currently sat unwatched right now.

It doesnt surprise me that its not going to get further syndication on the network, the quality has definitely declined.

What's that, Lost or Prison Break?

I think Lost is bizzare but I have to keep watching to see what happens.

Prison break was also bizzare I thought but I gave up watching that.

Sorry, I forgot to quote. This was aimed at Steven

Personally dont find Lost bizarre at all, yes it keeps you hanging on things being explained, and has had plenty of conspiracy theories by fans, but at least thats what keeps the interest there...also they know its direction, its script right up til closing now, so in that sense at least it cant lose its way on the network!

If any one wants to catch up on lost before the start tonight, there is a 4 minute 51 second recap here.
Just scroll down almost a whole page and play the clip.
There are no spoilers in there, it just covers the whole of lost so far very very briefly.

Don't look at the rest of the site though.

abrahams and lindelof have already admitted that they never expected lost to get picked up for more than one season so they just made ridiculous things like polar bears and smoke monsters up as they went along never thinking they would ever be asked to explain it-think they have been snookered by their own stupidity now they have to backtrack to make sure they cover all the nonsense they invented in season one.

dont even think abrahams has any real input into it now anyway-he is concentrating on "fringe" and his movie making.

I loved the first 2 seasons of Lost but now it's become a joke. They have never answered any questions just posed more and it gets more and more daft by the episode.

America has produced some of the best TV dramas in television history - The Wire, The West Wing, The Sopranos. So brilliantly written, directed and acted.
Compared to them, Lost is a joke.

It's such a shame too. The main reason it has become so stupid is ecause it was signed up for so many years. If the creators had said to the network "we want to do 3 seasons" then they could have had a brilliant, interesting and exciting 3 season story-arc.

Instead they have a massive 5-6 season run in which they have to milk every single character and every single silly plot twist completely dry.

Same with Heroes, if that had ended after the first season. Brilliant, such a good ending. Or even if they had started season 2 with an entirely new cast and story, that would have been fine. ut no, let's drag out the old characters and put them in stupid situations to keep the money rolling in.

So in summary, screw you JJ Abrams, you talentless, corporate sellout.

The ending of heroes was too hyped up it never lived up to any expectations apart from ending that story arc.

oh come on dan! I agree with much you say about running shows for too long but to call jj abrams talentless is nonsense-what about firefly? what about fringe? and as already said-he doesnt write lost anymore.

heroes was meant to start season two with an entirely new cast and story but the network told tim kring that was not what they wanted-so what should he do? take their money or end up unemployed?

JJ Abrams is a matter of taste I suppose. Firefly was bland, done-by-numbers sci-fi and Fringe is nothing more than a 2st century X-Files. Hardly ground-breaking stuff.

And with regards to someone "doing what the network say" or ended up unemployed is nonsense. No writer with any sort of talent is going to stay unemployed for long after creating something like Heroes and I am sure any decent writer would tell you that he'd rather be unemployed and respected than seen as a network cash-cow.

The polar bear escaped from the testing facility when the power on the island failed.
