Lucky Charm Cereal... and other memories from days gone by!!!!

Was in selfridges yesterday and saw Lucky charms cereal. Was £7.99 a box or £1.99 for a small tub! This was my favorite cereal when I was growing up in the 80's, so decided to treat my self to the small tub. They are still as lovely as I remember them, but can still taste the sugar now.

Got me thinking to what other things I remember from child hood, such as cider lollys yum!! And there was a ice lolly that was a banana and choc cream called max and had a lion on the front... can anyone remember it?

What other things can everyone remember from days gone by?!

Lucky Charms are expensive over here because they're imported from America. They're just as good as you'd remember though, I had a box a couple of months ago and it was worth the money! Same goes for the Vanilla Coke I had too, I don't know why they stopped making this stuff over here.

I think I must be just the other side of the age barrier for remembering that!!! I think it's borderline though.

I'm 27, born in 83. To be fair missp, you're a very young looking 33 if that's you in the avatar. I'm the other way round, probably look far older! Don't mention 80s too much though, it reminds me I've already lived to see four seperate decades!!! :-D

Any one else think of any thing from 70/80/90's?

I remember when Penny sweets were infact a penny and you went into the shop and would hand pick the ones you wanted, some of the sweets you could have 2 for a penny. Or if you were not bothered you could get a ready made bag for 20p that had more than 20 sweets in!

This is my fav threat ever!!! I was born in 1980 so I remember most of the things mentioned. I'm currently pregnant and all I want to eat is Trio bars but they stopped making them ages ago :(
I remember a macaroon bar that I loved (but can't remember what it was called) and Tab Clear was nice too!
