I am not a lover of salmon but my wife is, so I can advise on a good way to prepare it so that your child will be less inclined to reject it.

Poach it gently so that it becomes soft (and of course, cooked) and then when it has cooled somewhat, mash it up with mayonnaise (not salad cream, that's too strong). Basically you will be making a sort of salmon pate that can be spread on bread or crackers, and goes very well with slices of cucumber.

Poached or grilled with steamed veg and a nice white sauce mmmmmm nice:thumbsup:

Takes about 10 mins to grill depending on the size of the fillet

For a two-year-old? Asking for a bit of sophisication there, I reckon. :)

This is what we do - one saucepan & either veg&pots&salmon or pasta&salmon - the salmon takes about 15-20 mins in boiling water. That might be a bit long but I tend to overcook everything!

worto.

White sauce sophisticated:? it just makes the meal more palatable for small people and less bland and is easy to make, of course people can't all be the same but the OP was looking for ideas
