lol yes but i don't want to waste money!

what do you reckon? elite or essentials? i'm only considering the elite because it has a cradle that looks similar to the wii

Elite looks good.

Although the elite costs more financially it has a lower cost per gig ratio seeing as it is double the capacity, if you think you can use the space then go for it, forget the mybook if you want something compact as this is a full size external drive.

with the elite you are just paying for the dock,I would buy the basic one all day long unless you really like the look of the eilte....be aware though the new versions of the PP Drives use a lot more power and are more noisier than the previous generation.

My 1TB ones make a lot of racket in comparison to the older ones

I'd go for the my book if you don't mind the space. Its the best deal. Not always about looks if you can hide it somewhere :)

yeah i does look slick

yeah i can partition the drive and use it for games and data.. so would make use of the full 640gb

i noticed you were looking for a type of cradle for the essentials... did you manage to find them?

yeah i might get the mybook as it can sit next to the wii and it will look ok i think. i have like £30 in vouchers for play.com so i might end up getting it from there just to use up the vouchers....

its still between the mybook or the elite... with the elite atleast its portable... i already have some external 3.5" drives... so would be nice to get a portable one...

Get some play.com links up then!
